The Fireday Fighters Ptolous Game
We normally meet the first Saturday of each month, and are associated with Bearded Dragon Games. Game world is Monte Cook's Ptolus world setting. This is a moderated group, subscription approval by the GM only. It is recommended that the group "My subscription" link and set your self up to get emails from the group.

New Prestige Class: Swashbuckler Paragon (Updated 7/21/08)
Naturally charming, quick-witted, swift-bladed, and luckier than a four leaf clover – these are the primary characteristics of this truly flamboyant character. This dashing personality offers any party the dual advantages of a member capable of positive social interaction when dealing with the populous as well as a sharp blade ready to strike at any foe who dare cross the lightly armored, rapier wielding, flash-style fighting acrobat.
Chaos Tech: Bird Legs
Bird legs give an additional 6 inches in height, +2 Strength and +10 movement rate. this is offset by, every 2 days, a 1d2 drain of constitution as life energy is bled off to feed the artificial constructs. This amount is recoverable through normal means.
Fidark's base strength is now 16, his base movement is 50 and he is 7 feet 5 inches in height.

Falling asleep after a vigorous day of exercise, I Fidark, Champion of Tomanak, experienced a strange thing. I have dreamed rarely in my life. One of my dreams, which has been deemed prophetic, shows the city of Ptolus being sucked into a vortex of chaos and doom. I work hard to stop that vision from coming to pass.
But such is not my story tonight.
Tonight I have a strange vision, and I am not alone. Xankul, a friend and brother in the order of Tomanak, is with me as well. That was the least of the strangeness, as we had our adventuring gear with us.
Virtual feat
"3e has a thing that developed called "virtual feats," which are class abilities that duplicate the abilities of feats. If a character has a virtual feat, he qualifies for feats that have the feat the virtual feat duplicates as prerequisites."

I am not sure why this is important, but it is a common part of 3.5 and I can't find rules on it anywhere official.
Story of Iltumar Shon apprentice at the Bull and Bear Armory
My name is Iltumar Shon. I am the adopted son of Hirus Feek, proud owner of the Bull and Bear Armory. My brother is Sholum son of Hirus. Although I work at the armory with Sholum, I dream of a more exciting life.
Hirus says that I am a dreamer like my mother, but he will not tell me much about her. He says that I am smart like her two. Unlike most smiths I know my letters pretty good.

Email seems to work now
I think I have the email settings configured. If you aren't getting site email, go to your user account page (Click on My Account in the menu) and choose to get some messages. I am still testing things, so I am having some strange results. I think the strangest thing is that email is now html formatted. So, it's all good, if just a little too fancy.
Gencon or bust, or both.
So we're on for GenCon next week. It's very exciting. with the wifey in pregnant mode, we have moved our hotel reservation to the Crowne plaza, which appears to be slightly closer to the convention center than the previous choice, cheaper, and we stay in an actual converted train car, which I think is cool. We are flying out and back, and have several 4th edition games scheduled. we should have lots of fun. Wifey wants to go to the zoo, which sounds like fun unless you have THE WORLDS LARGEST FRIGGING GAME CONVENTION to go to instead. Women.

Conventioneering
Hey, is anyone interested in going to Origins/Gencon next year? I am and would be happy to have company. Please comment, and use poll questions to give me an idea on what is up.
they are both fantastic conventions, I have been to Origins twice (ask me about the pixe punch!) and it is a fantastic time. there are non-gamer activities as well as kids stuff too.
