The Parking Violations Bureau, as part of the Treasurer's Office, collects fines imposed by the Albany Police Department on illegally parked vehicles.
The parking violations bureau is located in city hall
City Hall, Room 203
24 Eagle Street
Albany, NY 12207
Phone: (518) 434-5036 - This is the city Treasurer's office, which seems to handle this stealth bureau.
Albany does not publish their parking violations bureau address or contact information either on their web site or on the parking tickets themselves. Further they state that payments only can be mailed to the address on the ticket. To further complicate matters there is no suggested payment on the ticket.
This is very annoying for everyone who gets a parking ticket in Albany.

The war was ostensibly fought for a virtuous reason: to defend the rights of the English-speaking people of the Boer republics, who were treated as second-class citizens by the ruling Boers. But it did not escape the attention of London that after the discovery of gold in the region in 1886, these republics had been producing a quarter of the world's gold supply. In any event, the Boers launched a preemptive strike, and war began in 1899.
http://www.tmbg.com/temp_site/shows.htm lists TMBG tour dates, there were TWO in Albany on the 19th. We missed em.
Much sadness ensued.
